Who we are

Scratchfair helps travellers in Europe who receive a damage claim from a car rental company. You upload the claim, the tool checks it against 14 common weak points and writes an objection letter in your language and the rental office's language. You send it yourself.

What we do and don't do

Scratchfair is a tool, not a law firm. You decide what you send and you are the sender. We never contact the rental company on your behalf.

How we earn money

The check is free. You pay a fixed price per case for the letter, the reminder and the follow-up documents. We get no commission from rental companies, insurers or lawyers.

Use of AI

Scratchfair uses AI to read claims, contracts and photos. The checks themselves are fixed rules. You see and approve everything before anything is sent.

Editorial policy

Articles in the knowledge base and blog are written with the help of AI and checked against sources. Every article lists at least two sources. Spotted a mistake? Email us and we will fix it.

Your data

We only use your documents to check your case and write your letters. See the privacy statement for how long we keep them and who processes them.
