Evidence mode
Photograph the car at pickup and return. Each photo gets a stamp with the date, time and (if you allow it) the place. The photos stay on your phone; we store nothing.
How to make strong evidence
- Walk once around the car: front, back, both sides and the roof if you can reach it.
- Take close-ups of every scratch, dent or chip, with something next to it for scale.
- Photograph the number plate, the mileage and the fuel gauge.
- Do the same at return, even if nobody from the rental company is there.
- Keep the photos until a few months after the rental.
